DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT:
Holy Fuck was a delightful weekly comedy show run by Dave Ross and Jeff Wattenhofer.
From November of 2009 to July of 2013, sketch screenings and great stand-up comedy came to the Downtown Independent Theater in Los Angeles for free every Tuesday night. (Actually, every other Tuesday for the first year. But almost!) If you were of a part of it, thank you. We had fun.
Many a great comic held the mic at Holy Fuck. Louis CK performed on the show, as did Patton Oswalt and Aziz Ansari. Maria Bamford, Dana Gould, Marc Maron, The Sklar Brothers, Ron Lynch, Kyle Kinane, Eric Andre and Todd Glass became veritable regulars for a time, and many more came through for a night or two, including Demetri Martin, Margaret Cho, Natasha Leggero, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, Tig Notaro…
The show is currently on hiatus, but will hopefully return again soon in an even further developed form. No matter what happens next, though, we thank you so very, very much for being a part of something so wonderful — for smiling and laughing and high-fiving and hugging and getting drunk and just having fun with us. You, the audience, were and are and always will be fucking amazing, and we cannot thank you enough.
